Getting to the apartment.

From the Barcelona airport
Terminal 1 (T1) – “The New One”
It’s a bit farther away from the city and larger that the old one. Most major airlines operate from terminal 1. It has a metro station (L9) but it's not great to go to the apartment.
Terminal 2 (T2) – “The Old One”
Most low-cost airlines operate from Terminal 2. It has a train station with a direct connection to Plaça Catalunya (the city center), making it a convenient option for reaching the city.
A free shuttle bus runs between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 every 10 minutes, ensuring easy transfers between terminals.

By taxi
The easiest and most reliable option is to book a taxi with Andrés. Known on Instagram as @goldentaxi, he offers a fixed-rate ride to your apartment if you book at least 24 hours in advance.

I don’t get any commission—I just recommend him because he’s a friendly and reliable driver who provides excellent service.
To move around Barcelona comfortably, you can use different ride-hailing apps:
• Freenow: Similar to Uber, but it allows you to book official taxis. Prices are comparable to Uber, and there are usually more taxis available.
• Uber, Cabify, and Bolt: These are alternative ride-hailing services.

From there, take the metro L1 (red) to Marina.

Low Emission Zone (LEZ) Registration – Avoid a €100 Fine
If you’re driving a foreign-registered vehicle in Barcelona, you must check if your car meets the DGT’s low-emission standards and register it in the ZBE system before entering the city.
Which Vehicles Must Register?
• Petrol cars: Must meet EURO 3 standards (typically registered after 2000).
• Diesel cars: Must meet EURO 4 standards (typically registered after 2005-2006).
If Your Car Doesn’t Meet the Standards
You must apply for a special daily permit at least 10 days in advance to enter the Low Emission Zone.
These measures aim to reduce nitrogen dioxide by 15% and CO₂ emissions by 6%, helping improve air quality and public health.

From Girona airport
Take a bus from the airport to Barcelona estació d'autobusos Nord (16€ aprox). When I cheched it there was on 3 buses a day.
